The Germ's Memories

The Germ's Memories explores the connection between germs and memory of the subway. Inspired by the idea that people always leave something behind, whether it's physical or emotional like a touch, objects, a sound, emotions, or even germs. This work visualizes those invisible traces as living, growing forms. This project uses how germs form over time as a metaphor for how memories form in the subway, its morph, combine, distorted and form into different shapes.

Just like germs, memories spread, fade, morph, distort and change through every interaction. The installation invites viewers to consider how the subway collects and carries these invisible traces of histories, and how their presence leaves a mark on the world around them.
