Passage of Wishes

The Passage of Wishes is an interactive sound sculpture inspired by Thailand’s Nam Lod cave, a place where wishes are whispered to the spirit and echoed through stone. Audiences are invited to whisper their wishes into the sculpture. Their voices return as whisper, distorted, fading, and transformed, symbolizing how personal desires shift as they move through the world. The sculpture’s form reflects this process, a tangle of echoes and intentions, shaped by many voices. This work explores the unseen journey of a wish and how it is released, combined with others, and eventually returns in unexpected forms.
